Genomics is the study of an organism's complete set of DNA, known as its genome, focusing on its structure, function, evolution, and how genes interact with each other and the environment. By analyzing entire genomes, researchers can gain insights into health conditions, develop new diagnostic and treatment approaches, and understand the genetic basis of inherited traits and diseases.
